5 Refreshing Cocktails to drive your stress away
Stressed out from work? School? or even stressed with no reason at all?! Whatever it is, try these cocktails to lighten up!
1. Tropical Vodka Punch
- 2 parts Vodka
- 2 parts Orange Juice
- 2 parts Pineapple Juice
- dash of Lime Juice
- 1 part Cranberry Juice
- dash of Grenadine
- Ice Cubes
Preparation: Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice, shake vigorously and serve in an old fashioned glass.
2. Strawberry Margarita Soda
- Strawberries (3-4 pcs, chopped)
- 4 parts Tequila
- 2 parts Lime / Lemon Juice
- 3 parts Triple Sec / Cointreau
- Soda Water / Sprite on top
Preparation: Mix Tequila, lime, triple sec and strawberries in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until strawberries are crushed. Serve on a highball glass and top with Soda water.
3. Grapefruit Mojito
- 4 parts White Rhum
- 2 parts Lime Juice
- 4-5 pcs of Mint Leaves
- quarter slice of skinned Grapefruit
- 1 part Sugar Syrup / Sugar
- Soda Water / Sprite on top
Preparation: On a cocktail shaker, lightly muddle mint and grapefruit with sugar. Add lime and white rhum and put some ice. Shake vigorously and serve in a high ball glass / Collins glass. Top with soda water and garnish with mint.
4. Mint Julep
- 4-5 pcs. of Mint leaves
- Sugar
- 4 parts Whiskey
- Soda water on top
- crushed ice
Preparation: Lightly muddle mint leaves with sugar on a cocktail shaker, add whiskey and Soda water. Shake and serve in a high ball glass.
5. Sangria
- 4 parts red wine
- 1 part brandy
- 1 part triple sec
- 2 parts orange juice
- dash of Lemon juice
- 2 parts Soda Water
- 1/2 tsp Sugar
- Apple Slice and Orange slice
Preparation: In a cocktail shaker with ice, mix all the ingredients together. Shake lightly and serve in any glass.
